Since the late 70’s, Hiroshima has been blending Japanese instruments like the koto and taiko drum with saxophone and keyboard stylings of American jazz to produce a seamless fusion of musical styles and cultures. Hiroshima has performed for hundreds of thousands around the world, while their extensive catalog of albums have sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Acclaimed jazz bassist Stanley Clarke says “Hiroshima is one of a kind. Since the very beginning, I've always loved the band.” This year, the group celebrates their 30th anniversary with the Grammy-nominated “Legacy” album and tour.

Celebrate the holidays with The World Theater as we partner with HIPPO FM104.3 to help those in need this holiday season in a canned food drive to benefit the Food Banks of Monterey and San Benito counties and the SPCA. For every five cans of people or pet food you bring to the theater on the night of the performance, you can get a ticket to December People for only $10!
