To Buy Tickets:
Online: Tickets may be purchased online at https://secure3.ticketguys.com/worldtheater/. Please note that tickets for some shows may not be available online and online seating options may be limited. Online sales are subject to an additional convenience fee. All tickets ordered online will be held at the World Theater box office and will be available beginning one hour prior to showtime. Proper I.D. is required for ticket pick up.
Phone: All phone, mail, and fax orders will be charged an additional $2 processing fee for each order. Will Call pick-up of tickets available at no additional charge. Patrons may receive tickets via mail at an additional charge. Please note that tickets orders received by mail, phone, or fax less than three weeks prior to the event will not be mailed, but will be held at the box office. Proper I.D. is required for ticket pick up.

In Person: Stop by the World Theater box office located on the campus of CSU Monterey Bay. The World Theater box office is located in the front of the building facing Sixth Avenue on the campus of CSU Monterey Bay. Box office hours are Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM. - 4:00 P.M. For performances, the box office is open one hour before curtain through intermission. Please note that box office hours may vary during non-academic periods. Short-term parking is available in the lot adjacent to the theater near the north side of the building.
Please check your tickets carefully! All sales are final-there are no refunds or exchanges. Curtain times and days for performances vary.

House Opening/Seating and Restrictions

The house will be open one-half hour before curtain with the approval of the performers.

All seats are reserved for Performing Arts Series events.

Special seating needs will be accommodated five minutes before house opening.

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management.

Cameras, recording devices, pagers, cell phones, smoking, food and beverages are strictly prohibited in all performance areas.
Patron Categories
General Public
General Public patrons are all patrons who do not qualify for discount or full-time CSUMB student tickets.
Discount: available for seniors (age 55 and older), CSUMB faculty and staff, Fort Ord Alumni Association, CSUMB Alumni Association, students, young adult (ages 13-17 years old), child (12 under) and military personnel. Identification required for all discount tickets and some limits and restrictions may apply.
CSUMB Students
Current students at CSUMB can purchase a maximum of two tickets per event at the student ticket price. These tickets are not transferable and are to be used by the student who purchases them and a guest. Identification required and some limits and restrictions may apply.
Group Sales
We love groups! Come with family, friends, business associates or club members. A discount is offered for groups of 10 or more and tickets are based on availability. Call the box office manager at (831) 582-4588 to make arrangements.
Disability Services:
Wheelchair accessible: The World Theater is equipped with ramps and wheelchair and companion seating on the right and left sides of the house. All wheelchair spaces can be accessed from the lobby of the theater. Accessible restrooms are located in the lobby. Handicapped parking is located in the parking lot adjacent to the World Theater on the north side of the building. Please indicate the number of wheelchair seats needed on your ticket order form so that we may properly seat you in the facility.
Phonic Ear Sound Enhancement: The World Theater is equipped with an Assisted Listening System to aid with sound amplification and clarity. Headphones are available in the lobby free of charge. A credit card, driver's license or valid student ID will be held as security while headphones are in use.
Sign interpreters: The World Theater will provide sign interpreters for patrons who request services. All requests for sign interpreters must be made at least ten (10) business days prior to performance. Please advise the box office at the time of your purchase for appropriate seating.
TTY/TDD: The World Theater is equipped with a TTY/TDD machine. You can contact us at (831) 582-5066 to access this device.
Parking and Travel Directions
Parking in designated areas is free for all patrons attending Performing Arts Series events at the World Theater. During normal business hours, parking passes are required. We are located 20- minutes from Carmel and 20-minutes from Salinas.
